Sprung
Shout it from the roof tops... spring has sprung! What glorious weather, beautiful tulips, an inordinate amount of weeds and the first bouncy castle of the season! That's what I call a good weekend.

Beach house

Holidays are always on my mind and this amazing beach house in Norway could be transplanted to a plot of land in South Australia by the beach with my name on the title. I love the simplicity of it at first glance. Then upon further inspection you notice the little nooks and crannys like the outdoor shower. I love how it could easily translate into an Aussie beach shack fancy-style. The contrast in colour on the house itself is fantastic and against that wintry Nowegian sky, it's divine.
Family and friends could come and stay for the weekend and we could pop down easily on a whim. Just think of the girls weekends we could have!

Shhh... I need a little quiet
I'm pooped and I need a little quiet time on my own with no phones, emails or any means of communication. I don't mind if you come and you like to quietly read a book or contemplate your navel. I'll be in this room but please don't bother knocking, I won't answer.

The power of yellow
I'm not talking about some sort of self-help guide to spiritual enlightenment. I'm talking about living in the moment and enjoying the things or people that make you feel good as often as you can. Despite the abysmal weather (yes, I'm still moaning about the weather) things that are yellow always make me feel good. A 'pop of yellow' can indeed lift the soul. Today I wore a little and felt my mood instantly elevate. I wish I had this dress though... I'd never take it off.

Yellow is often on my mind so I think I need to incorporate it a bit more into my life. I don't need a lot, just a hint here and there.

Peaches and Cream
After catching a little bit of the John Butler Trio last night it made me realise just how incredible some artists are in their passion for not only the lyrics, but the music itself. An amazing performance that went forever (I'm a little tired today).
On a side note, to the lady behind me that sang loudly and in a piercing out-of-tune, tone deaf manner for my favourite song Peaches and Cream... thank you for nothing!
To the 'love and goodwill' that is generally inspired by JBT, thanks for everything!
